Gutter cleaning questions, answered
Price, timing, cleanup, insurance and what we do while we're on your roof.
Pricing and booking
How much does gutter cleaning cost?
Gutter cleaning is priced by home size, from $125 for homes up to 1,500 sq ft to $350 for homes up to 6,000 sq ft. How often your gutters are maintained, roof height and gutter covers can change the final price. See the full price list.
Does the price include cleanup?
We blend debris into your landscaping at no charge. If you'd rather have it hauled off your beds and lawn, we bag it and set the bags at your curb for trash pickup for $30 a bag. We can't know how many bags a job will take until we're up there.
When will you arrive?
We set routes the evening before service so last-minute changes don't throw off the day. You'll get a text with your arrival window that evening.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most customers aren't home during service. Unlock any gates, and we'll text your invoice and photos when we finish.
How do I pay?
We take cash, check, Zelle, Venmo and most credit cards. Card payments through Square include a 3.5% processing fee. Pay an invoice online.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please cancel at least 24 hours before 5 p.m. the day before your service, since that's when routes are set. Later cancellations can carry a fee of up to $100.
Do you offer referral discounts?
Yes. Refer friends and save: $10 off for one referral, $20 off for five, and $50 off for ten or more.
Do you offer service agreements?
Yes. Service agreements put your home on our calendar at set intervals of every 3, 4 or 6 months, for gutter cleaning and skylight cleaning. You don't have to remember to call, and your gutters never get far behind.
The work
Do all houses need gutter cleaning?
Not every house fills its gutters at the same rate, but every roof wears. Shingle wear, wood rot, cracked vent boots and rodent damage are easy to miss from the ground. We recommend a full roof and gutter inspection at least every two years, and every cleaning includes one.
How often should I clean my gutters?
It depends on your trees. Homes under heavy tree cover need a cleaning every 3 to 4 months. Moderate tree cover means every 6 months, and homes with few trees can go 12 months. Read our full guide.
Do I still need cleanings with gutter covers?
Yes. Gutter covers cut down how often you need a cleaning and keep big debris out, but they don't end maintenance. Leaves and needles sit on top, fine grit works through, and storms push debris in. A periodic cleaning keeps covered gutters flowing.
Do you clear the downspouts?
Yes. We cover everything from the roof to the ground line, including flushing downspouts. If your downspouts run into buried pipes, those are a separate service: underground drain cleaning.
Will I get photos?
Yes. You get photos of the work and of anything that needs attention, along with an estimate for any repair.
What should I do before you arrive?
Unlock gates, make sure your outdoor water spigots work, keep pets inside, and tarp anything that can't get debris on it, including AC units.
