How much does gutter cleaning cost in Atlanta?

What changes the price
- Home size. Square footage is a good stand-in for how much roof and gutter there is, which is why we price by it.
- Height and pitch. Tall, steep roofs take more time and more safety setup.
- Maintenance frequency. Gutters cleaned on a regular schedule take less work than gutters that haven't been touched in years.
- Gutter covers. Cleaning covered gutters takes longer than open ones.
- Haul-away. We blend debris into your landscaping for free, or bag it and set it at your curb for $30 a bag.
- Buried drains. Clearing underground downspout pipes is a separate service, $200 for the first system on the first visit.

A low price means little if half the job is missing. Before you book anyone, ask whether the price covers:
- Clearing the roof and valleys, not just the gutters
- Flushing every downspout
- An inspection of the roof and gutters, with photos
- Cleanup, so your yard looks the way it did

Ask about insurance
This is the question most homeowners forget. If an uninsured worker falls from your roof, you can be held liable for the injury. Ask for proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation. We carry both, and the paperwork is available once your appointment is confirmed.

How to spend less over time
- Service agreements keep you on a 3, 4 or 6 month schedule so gutters never get badly packed.
- Referral discounts take $10 off for one referral, $20 for five and $50 for ten or more.
- Gutter guards at $12 per foot reduce how often you need a cleaning at all.
Is DIY cheaper?
On paper, yes. In practice, ladder falls send a lot of homeowners to the emergency room every year, and a garden hose doesn't inspect your vent boots or tell you a gutter has lost its slope. For a one-story home with a few trees, DIY can make sense. For anything taller, hire someone insured.
